How billing works
Plain answers about family memberships: what you pay, when you pay it, and how to change or cancel.
Prices
One family membership covers 1 to 6 kids. Prices are in US dollars.

Free trial
Every new family gets 14 days free. If you add a payment method during the trial, your first charge happens when the trial ends, not before. If you don’t, nothing is charged and your kids’ access pauses when the trial ends until you choose a plan.
Renewal
Memberships renew automatically every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel. Stripe emails you a receipt for each payment.
Changing your plan
Add or remove seats, or switch between monthly and yearly, from Plan & billing in your parent dashboard. Changes are prorated: you’re charged (or credited) only the difference for the rest of the current period.
Canceling
Cancel any time from Plan & billing. Your kids keep playing until the end of the time you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. Their progress is kept, so you can come back later and pick up where they left off.
If a payment doesn’t go through
We’ll keep your kids playing for 3 days while you update your card (Plan & billing, then Payment method & receipts). After that, kids see a message asking a grown-up to renew until the payment is fixed.
Payments and your card
Payments are handled by Stripe. You type your card on Stripe’s secure page; Mighty Mathletes never sees or stores your card number.
